Dressmaking Patterns

Patterns are printed at 100% and in full colour. We use 914mm wide 90GSM tracing paper so can print A0 (841mm x 1190mm) and US Copy Shop (36″ x 46″) size PDFs.

We will double check the test square is accurate on each pattern after printing.

Printing Cost

GCPrintShop have a brand new Canon wide format printer that prints on 914mm wide paper, and has been formatted to optimise A0 print size modelling patterns.

A standard A0 size printed modelling plan will cost you $11 plus postage.

Shipping and handling

GCPrintShop ship everything to customers in postage cylinders. The postage rate is a flat rate of $ which covers everything that you order in a single order. Make sure that ‘can you put all my separate orders together’ is noted in the notes on your order.

Some pattern PDFs have each size embedded as separate layers, enabling the sizes to be printed individually. If your pattern has sizing embedded and you’d like to print only the size you need, please leave us a note in the ‘Additional Info’ box with the size you’d like printed.

Scale accuracy and clarity? PDF is the answer!

The two biggest problems that you may find with plans downloaded from the internet is resolution and maintaining scale accuracy. Many JPG, GIF and TIFF files, are grainy, and often the scale gets altered and they are printed.

If you have the option to download a PDF for printing, then you will have the best possible printed outcome.

So here is how you get your modelling PDFs printed. It's so easy:

• Download the PDF file to your computer.
• Upload your file to our server for printing.
• Select the size and number of pages to be printed.
• Pay
• We will send your modelling plan out to you in a round roll.
